NUINS collaborates with Swastika National Business School, JCI Mangalore Samrat.

On the occasion of JCI Zonecon Kahale 2025, Nitte Usha Institute of Nursing Sciences under the Vriddhi Industry-Academia Collaboration, in association with Swastika National Business School, supported by JCI Mangalore Samrat and MSEZ, organized an industry-sponsored awareness camp on CPR and Free Health Check-up on 19th October 2025.

The event was inaugurated by Mr. Surya Narayana Rao, President, MSEZ Ltd. and Dr. Raghavendra Holla, Chairman, Swastika National Business School. Prof. (Dr) Jacintha Veigas along with nursing interns actively participated in the camp by monitoring blood pressure, checking GRBS and conducting CPR demonstrations using mannequins.

A total of 110 beneficiaries availed health services; 5 were referred for further treatment, and others received health education for wellbeing. Dr. Mithula and Dr. Anup from K S Hegde Medical Academy provided medical support. The participants showed great enthusiasm in learning CPR, acknowledging it as a vital life-saving skill. The event concluded with Swastika National Business School sponsoring equipment to NUINS, marking a successful collaboration that promoted health awareness and community engagement.
