Oct 19, 2026

NUCSER celebrated Navaratri as "Navanitya" from 11 to 19 October 2026, embracing the spirit of devotion, culture, and togetherness. The nine-day celebration that honours Shakti, the symbol of feminine power and symbolizes the triumph of good over evil. Each day of Navaratri was marked by creation of vibrant rangoli decorations by the students, featuring a designated colour, which symbolizes a specific trait, an energy, or attribute of nine incarnations of Goddess Durga.

Each day, led by the Director, the students and the faculty members, worshipped Goddess Durga through an auspicious lamp-lighting and sought divine blessing for all. The entire NUCSER community enthusiastically embraced the tradition and the celebration brought the NUCSER family together, fostering cultural appreciation, unity, and a joyful, festive atmosphere.
