Session on study and Research Opportunities in Germany

The Placement Cell of Nitte University Centre for Science Education & Research, in collaboration with International Relations Nitte DU, successfully hosted an informative session on study and research opportunities in Germany on 12th August 2025 for undergraduates, postgraduates and research scholars.

Ms. Suganya Tamalapadi, Regional Officer at DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), a joint organization of German institutions of higher education, served as the resource person for the session. Ms. Tamalapadi highlighted the diverse opportunities available for candidates across various disciplines and provided detailed insights into the types of scholarships offered, eligibility criteria, and the application process. She elaborated on PhD exchange programs that facilitate collaboration between research scholars and German universities, enabling valuable international research experience. She discussed part-time job opportunities in Germany, outlining regulations and available work options for students. An interactive Q&A session followed, during which she addressed questions raised by the students.
