Beach cleaning at Someshwar beach

The NSS cell of NUCSER celebrated Earth Day on 19th April 2025 with a focus on environmental conservation through a beach cleaning initiative at Someshwar beach, Ullal. Volunteers included students from NUCSER and staff from CoE, Aquamarine Project, GoK. Equipped with gloves, biodegradable trash bags and a shared sense of purpose, participants worked tirelessly to remove plastic waste and other pollutants from the beach area.

The event raised awareness about the urgent need to combat plastic pollution.
