As part of their Induction Programme, freshers from the Fashion Design and Interior Design programmes at Nitte School of Fashion Technology & Interior Design (NSFTID) visited the Isha Foundation and the Sir M. Visvesvaraya Memorial.
The visit provided students with an opportunity to step beyond the classroom and engage with experiences that connect learning, culture and design. Through exposure to these spaces, students gained perspectives that can inspire new ideas and encourage them to observe design and its relationship with the world around them.
The visit formed a valuable part of the students' induction experience, supporting experiential learning, creative thinking and a broader understanding of design beyond the classroom.
