NSFTID Faculty Lead National Workshop on Fashion Illustration at Nehru Arts and Science College, Coimbatore

The Nitte School of Fashion Technology and Interior Design (NSFTID), Allahankar, proudly deputed Ms. Radhika T, Assistant Professor, and Ms. Roopa A, Senior Lab In-Charge, as resource persons for a National Workshop on “From Sketch to Stitch: Fashion Illustration” organized by Nehru Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Coimbatore.

The workshop, held on 11 September 2025, was tailored for undergraduate Costume and Fashion students across all three years, bringing together 90 participants.

Through sessions on rapid sketching and rendering techniques, the resource persons demonstrated how to bridge creative design concepts with practical application. Step-by-step demonstrations, interactive exercises, and live sketching guidance helped students build skills in proportion, detailing, and fabric representation.

The workshop created a vibrant learning environment that encouraged students to strengthen both their creative visualization and technical illustration abilities, while gaining valuable insights into industry practices.

The enthusiastic response from participants and the host institution reflected the impact of the sessions and highlighted the value of this academic collaboration.
