India’s First Oscars Book of Records Achievement for NSFTID

The Nitte School of Fashion Technology & Interior Design (NSFTID) proudly participated in the 2nd International Aari Workers Conference – 2025, held in Bengaluru.

At this landmark event, over 3,000 women artisans came together to set a world record by completing intricate Aari embroidery in just 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Representing NSFTID were:

Ms. Radhika T (Assistant Professor)

Ms. Roopa A (Lab In-charge)

Both were honored with certificates and medals by Nobel World Records and the Oscars Book of Records, making it a proud moment as India’s first achievement with the Oscars Book of Records.

This recognition not only celebrates the timeless artistry of Aari embroidery but also places NSFTID on the global stage for its contribution to preserving and promoting traditional crafts.
