A guest talk on ‘self-understanding as the foundation for meaningful decision-making’

The Commerce Association of Dr. NSAM First Grade College, Nitte, organised a guest talk by Dr. Melanie Pius Dsouza, Faculty, Justice KS Hegde Institute of Management on 31st August 2026, focusing on ‘self-understanding as the foundation for meaningful decision-making’. She introduced personality frameworks such as MBTI/16-personality types and explained their relevance to learning, decision-making, relationships and career selection.

62 students participated in self-reflection exercises exploring their strengths, weaknesses, parental influences, fears, hobbies, ideal careers and preferred learning styles.
