International Youth Day

On the occasion of International Youth Day on 12th August 2026, the National Service Scheme (NSS) and Youth Red Cross Society (YRC) of Dr. NSAM First Grade College organized a program on Role of Youth in Social Service.

Chief Guest Shri Muniraj Rengala highlighted the vital role of youth in building a responsible and progressive society. Stressing on the importance of leadership, responsibility, empathy, discipline, teamwork and commitment to society, he urged students to actively participate in community welfare activities. He mentioned that social service can begin with simple acts such as helping others, spreading awareness, protecting the environment, supporting the underprivileged and contributing to community development.

Prof. (Dr.) Veena Kumari B K, Principal, appreciated the efforts of the NSS and YRC in organizing the program and emphasized the importance of youth participation in social and community development. She encouraged students to become responsible citizens and develop compassion, social responsibility and leadership qualities, alongside academic excellence.

The program witnessed the participation of 280 students and 6 faculty members
