The NSS unit of N R A M Polytechnic conducted a workshop titled "Effective Public Speaking" on 25th February 2025. The resource person, Mr. Raghavendra Prabhu Karval, a Zone Trainer, JCI, emphasized the importance of public speaking in both personal & professional life. He discussed how effective communication skills are essential for leadership, career growth and developing strong interpersonal relationships.

Mr. Karval shared various techniques for improving public speaking skills, such as voice modulation, body language and overcoming stage fear. He provided practical tips on how to structure a speech, engage the audience and use storytelling as a powerful communication tool. Real-life examples & anecdotes were shared to make the session meaningful. He stressed that individuals with good public speaking abilities were more likely to excel in interviews, presentations and team discussions.

Students were given an opportunity to speak in front of their peers and were assessed based on their presentation and were provided constructive feedbacks. Different techniques were taught to refine their delivery and students who performed exceptionally well were awarded prizes. The engaging and practical approach of the workshop made it a valuable learning experience for all attendees.
