A session on Conducting Scoping Review

A session on Conducting Scoping Review was conducted at Nitte Institute of Speech & Hearing on 26th August 2026. A total of 48 students from MSc Audiology and MSc Speech-Language Pathology programs and 8 faculty members participated in the session. Dr Gnanvel K, Trainee Clinical Scientist in Audiology at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT), conducted the session and provided information on available technology to support conducting scoping reviews. The session included information about the stages of scoping review - research question formulation, database search, quality appraisal, data extraction and synthesis, information decimation.
