An awareness session on Drug Abuse was conducted for the first-year undergraduate and postgraduate students on 23rd August 2025 at Chinthana Hall, K S Hegde Hospital under the framework of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan campaign. The session was led by Ms. Pamidigantam Raghava Priya, Lecturer & Counsellor at K S Hegde Medical Academy. The talk aimed to sensitize students about drug abuse, commonly abused substances - depressants, stimulants, hallucinogens, opioids and inhalants and highlighting that drug abuse refers to the harmful or excessive non-medical use of such substances.
