The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and developmental activities in Network, Multimedia and Information Technology. Another goal is to promote scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners working all around the world. The conference provides an exceptional opportunity for deliberation of latest trends and technologies in the design, application and development of Information Technology. It also creates a forum for young researchers to find potential research problems and prospects in their respective research areas.
Building on the success of the two IEEE International Conferences on Network, Multimedia, and Information Technology (NMITCON) held in 2023, 2024 and 2025 in association with the IEEE Bangalore Section, NMITCON-2026 is poised to continue inspiring the academic and technical community. With immense dedication and effort, NMITCON-2026 has been designed to be both innovative and creative, addressing diverse practices in the rapidly evolving world of technology. Moreover, it provides a valuable platform for young researchers to explore potential research challenges and opportunities within their respective fields.
About IEEE Student Branch Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bengaluru (Stb64731)
The IEEE Student Branch of Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT), Bengaluru, operating under the IEEE Bangalore Section, was established in 2005. Its primary objective is to provide platforms for academic interactions through various research-oriented seminars, inspiring students to actively participate in regional conferences, workshops, and knowledge-based competitions. These initiatives offer students valuable opportunities to enhance their academic knowledge and technical skills by engaging with eminent scholars and technocrats from India and abroad. This exposure helps broaden their perspectives beyond the prescribed academic curriculum, preparing them for global challenges.
Notably, the NMIT IEEE AESS Student Branch Chapter secured funding of $75,000 from the IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society (AESS), USA, under the Distributed Sensing Technology and Education Initiatives (DSTEI) in the Asia Pacific Region 10, marking a significant achievement in fostering innovation and excellence.
Awards:
All papers presented at the conference will be submitted for inclusion into the IEEE Xplore Digital Library subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.

Authors are solicited to contribute to the conference by submitting articles that illustrate research results, projects, Experiment works and industrial experiences that describe significant advances in the following areas, but are not limited to, the following.
All papers presented at the conference will be submitted for inclusion into the IEEE Xplore Digital Library subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.
1. Kindly note that IEEE NMITCON-2026 will follow a "double-blind" review process. All submitted papers will be judged based on their quality, presentation and relevance through a "double-blind" review process, where the identities of the authors are withheld from the reviewers. Therefore, the authors are required to preserve the anonymity of submission, while at the same time allowing the reader to fully gain the context of related past work, including their own.
2. Papers that do not conform with "double-blind submission" policies will be rejected without review. Please read the guidelines (given below in the subsequent section named "Instructions for authors: Guidelines to preserve anonymity for "double-blind" submissions") to preserve anonymity with double-blind submission.
3. While submitting the paper via CMT, please ensure that all authors are added in the CMT system. Note that this does not require including author details in the PDF of the paper; authors and their details must be entered only in CMT. Please note that adding new authors will not be permitted once the paper has been submitted for review. However, removal of authors may be permitted with proper justification, and the IEEE Bangalore Subsection reserves the right to make the final decision in such cases.
4. Since the "Accepted and presented papers" of 2026 IEEE NMITCON-2026 will be submitted for possible publication in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library, the manuscript must strictly adhere to the standard IEEE two column format and must not be more than 6 pages.
5. Typesetting instructions and sample templates: https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates
6. The Camera Ready Copy (CRC) of every "accepted" paper will be subjected to the "similarity check" using https://crosscheck.ieee.org/crosscheck/ IEEE Crosscheck and Prohibited Participants List . The CRC that fails these checks would be rejected.
1. Remove the names and affiliations of authors from the title page of the PDF file that you submit for review. This information must be included in the final camera-ready copy if your paper gets accepted. While submitting your paper for review, you need to include all the author’s details only on the registration page. The PDF file of the paper should not have the author’s information.
2. Remove acknowledgments of identifying names and funding sources from the PDF file that you will submit for review. This information must be included in the final camera-ready copy if your paper gets accepted.
3. Use care in referring to your previous works as related works. Do not omit references to provide anonymity, as this leaves the reviewer unable to grasp the context. Instead, you can reference your past work in the third person format, just like any other piece of related work by another author. For example, instead of "Recently, we have proposed a new protocol [9] ...," sentences in the spirit of “Recently, the authors in [9] have proposed a new protocol ..." may be used.
4. Papers with the same title and abstract should not be posted on a public website, such as arxiv.org, or shared via public mailing lists or communicated to other conferences/journals/publications.
1. IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (including its removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.
2. Papers are reviewed on the basis that they do not contain plagiarized material and have not been submitted to any other conference at the same time (double submission). These matters are taken very seriously, and the IEEE will act against any author who engages in either practice.
3. Kindly follow these links for more details: https://www.ieee.org/publications/rights/plagiarism/plagiarism https://www.ieee.org/publications/rights/multi-sub-guidelines-intro
4. Submitted papers must be unpublished and not currently under review for any other publication. The authors of accepted papers will need to sign an IEEE Copyright form and present their paper at the conference.
1. Kindly submit the paper through the following link: https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/NMITCON2026
2. Paper submission via email is not permitted. The papers submitted via email will be rejected without review.
