Frontier Lecture on Academic Writing

The Publication Cell of Nitte Institute of Physiotherapy conducted a Frontier Lecture on "Academic Writing" on 30th September 2021 at the Institute premises.

The event began with an introduction by Dr Saumya Srivastava, Associate Professor, NIPT. The opening remarks and welcome address were delivered by Prof (Dr) Dhanesh Kumar K U, Principal, NIPT, where he emphasized the importance of writing a technical or scientific paper.

The Speaker for the day was Dr Purusotham Chippala, Professor, NIPT, who spoke at length on the process of Academic Writing, and the various software that assists in writing a research paper.

A total of 50 postgraduate students attended the Lecture. The session ended with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms Shilna Rani. The Lecture was organized by Dr Saumya Srivastava and Ms Shilna Rani, Coordinators of the Publication Cell.
