State level hockey tournament

State level hockey tournament for boys and girls conducted from 30 November  to 2 December. This tournament jointly organized by Department of District Pre University Education and  Dr.NSAM PU college Nitte . This was held at B.C Alva sports Complex , Nitte.

On 30 November  2019 state level hockey tournament was inaugurated by Mr.Vishal Hegde Trustee, Nitte Education Trust and Pro-Chancellor(Administration) Nitte University. Mr. G. Jagadish District commissioner Udupi gave presidential speech.

District Panchayat member Mrs. Reshma Uday Shetty, Mrs.Saubhagya Madivala President, Taluk Panchayat, Mrs. Sabitha Poojary Gram Panchayat president Nitte, Dr.Niranjan N Chiplunkar, Principal NMAMIT Nitte, Mr.Dinesh Kumar were present.

In Girls category , Mysore District won the tournament and in Boys , Bangalore south bagged the prize. Rakshitha, Prajna and Akhilesh of Dr. NSAM.PU college ,Nitte were selected for National Level.
