NITTE-NAMASTE
NITTE-NAMASTE is an initiative taken in 2018 to connect emotionally and culturally with the North-Eastern (NE) States. Activities under this initiative include conduct of certificate programs in select NE dialects, cultural exchange programs and collaborative research in health science. Meritorious students from economically weaker sections from the North-Eastern States are provided higher education with complete waiver of tuition fee.
NITTE-NAMASTE SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME 2023-24
Nitte Deemed to be University, Mangalore has been offering seats on Full Tuition Fee Waiver in various programs to students of North-Eastern Region (NER) from the academic year 2018-19.
ELIGIBILITY:
- Candidates should have passed the Qualifying examination in North-Eastern Region only.
- Candidates should have passed the Qualifying examination in single attempt.
- Annual income of parents should be less than Rs.4 lakhs. Income Certificate issued by the competent Revenue Authority should be furnished.
- Refer Table below for marks criteria and programs offered.
- Candidates should first submit the Enquiry form (click here)
- On receipt of the same, the application, brochure and other required details will be furnished to the candidate via email.
- Last date for receipt of filled application with necessary documents is 22nd June 2023 (11:59 PM).
- Merit list will be announced on 26th June 2023.
- Offer letter will be sent via email on 28th June 2023.
- Last date to confirm acceptance of seat via email (namaste@nitte.edu.in) is 30th June 2023.
- Selected candidates will be exempted from tuition fee in full.
- Hostel fee should be paid by 15th July 2023. Caution Deposit is exempted. Hostel fee structure is available on www.nitte.edu.in under Program Fee.
