Commerce career awareness program

"Career means not only securing a job but also achieving success as well as creation of wealth that leads to satisfactory life" said Mr. Chandrashekar Shetty, Chartered Accountant and founder of CAPS Foundation, Bangalore who was the resource person for the webinar on 'Commerce Career Awareness Program' organized by the Commerce Association of Dr. NSAM PU College, Mangaluru, on 16th July 2021. Addressing the students, he said that no educational degree will be difficult to achieve if one learns the art of applying the right skill. He also said that only about 30% to 40% of the students in the country accomplish CA and this is due to lack of proper guidance from the beginning. Learning with dedication and responsibility will definitely lead one to be a CA in the market at a young age, he added. Principal Dr. Naveen Shetty K in his presidential address said that the College which is a unit of the prestigious Nitte Education Trust has a history of 23 years. He further mentioned that the College is offering integrated batches and also training students for competitive exams such as the NEET, JEE, CET and CA Foundation course.

Ms. Shakunthala Shetty, Lecturer in Commerce coordinated the program. All the II year Commerce students and Commerce faculty members joined the program through Zoom Meeting.
